Karnataka Group Kachri’s unique appeal

Kedaram celebrated his 10th anniversary with a series of concerts. The opening performance was performed by four up and a group of upcoming musicians. piece de resistance Tyagaraja’s work in the concert was ‘O, Rangsai’. The raga under the leadership of Nandita was a good mixture of long and short phrases. Charulatha followed to follow the tradition through his response to Veena. He effectively expressed the essence of the raga. Synchronized Randition of the quartet took a picture of Bhulka Vacuntum – Srirangam. Each came with Nirval and Swaras to their separate approach.

After Virutam, the group sang the ‘Bhajare Lokaguram’ of Sriringari Acharya Shri Bharati Tirath Mahaswamy in Khamas. Thiyumanwar’s ‘Angai Lodumalar Thuovi’ was set in Ragas Chenjuruti and a rare donations in Nadanamakaria. The concert ended with Samratha Ramdas’s Abhang.
