Karnataka police searched for fast-track court for fast testing in case of actor Darshan and other people fans murder

Bengaluru: The Karnataka Police is considering filing a petition for the formation of a fast-track court to ensure a prompt lawsuit against Kannada superstar Darshan, his partner Pavithra Gowda and other accused in the jail.

Police sources revealed that the department is already preparing in this regard and will contact the government for its consent. This decision has been taken to complete the test and settle the case rapidly in the background of the Supreme Court directive.

According to sources, the police is preparing to complete the darshan and other accused within six months and then submit a report to the Supreme Court after being sentenced in the case.

Senior officials are discussing with the law department, and the request will be formally placed before the government on Monday (August 18).

Vikas has shocked Darshan, Pavithra Gowda and other accused. He was arrested a few hours after the Supreme Court canceled his bail on 14 August.

Jail sources revealed that after the Supreme Court rebuke, the officials are making sure that philosophy and their colleagues be treated with other prisoners and no special privilege.

According to the gel menu, the actor has been strictly provided with a bedsheet and food. Sources said, “The jail manual is being strictly followed in the case of Darshan.”

Darshan, who was previously allowed to receive home-cooked food, has rejected its request this time. Sources said that they had demanded two bedsheets citing the cold weather, but the authorities refused the petition, stating that according to the guidelines, only one bedsheet could be given.

Meanwhile, Darshan’s wife Vijayalaxmi shared a broken heart emoji with a picture of the actor on Instagram.


In a major development, the Supreme Court on Thursday canceled the bail of the Kannada actor in a fan murder case. The bench ordered the officials to take him into custody immediately.

The court similarly canceled the bail of Pavithra Gowda and five other accused, who were detained even after the court order.

Justice R. A bench, including Mahadevan and JB Pardiwala, pronounced the verdict, stating that the High Court’s verdict in the case was flawed. The court further directed that the witness examination should be done rapidly, saying that no one is above the law, regardless of height.

A few hours after the bail canceled, Darshan, Pavithra Gowda, and five others were arrested and produced before the court. They are currently registered in Bengaluru Central Jail.

Darshan, Pavithra Gowda, and 15 others were originally arrested on 11 June 2024 on charges of kidnapping and a fan of Chitradurg Renukaswamy was brutally murdered.
