Karur rally Stamped is threatened by actor-politician Vijay’s residence

Chennai: Chennai police received a phone call claiming that ECR, Tamilga Vetri Kazgam (TVK) chief and actor C Joseph Vijay, was put in a bomb in a bomb, said.

After alert on Sunday, police personnel rushed to the spot, and a bomb settlement squad was deployed. Sources said that the experts are currently investigating completely inside and outside the premises. Vijay showed heavy security outside Vijay’s residence.

Earlier, Vijay’s campaign rally in Karur has increased to 41 due to stampede death, a woman died due to injuries after undergoing treatment at a hospital.

65 -year -old Suguna, a resident of Karur district, died after failing to treat ventilator support in the intensive care unit. The deceased has 18 women, 13 men, five young girls, and five young boys, who bring in a total of 41. So far, 34 victims have two from Karur district, two from Tiruppur, Dindgul District.

On Saturday evening, a huge crowd at Vijay’s rally became chaotic, triggering nervousness. Sources had said that the crowd gave birth to the tragedy at the venue.

Vijay announced that he would provide financial assistance of Rs 20 lakh to the bereaved families and during his rally, Rs 2 lakh for injuries in the unfortunate stampede in Karur, Tamil Nadu.

Meanwhile, the Madras High Court on Sunday heard Vijay’s party, Tamilga Vatri Kazgam, from public functions, rallies or meetings to the completion of the official investigation in the Karur stampede tragedy, heard a petition demanding to stop the Tamilga Vitri Kazgam.

Justice N. St.hilkumar heard the petition immediately at 4:30 pm. The petition came in view of Saturday’s incident in Karur, where a large crowd of TVK campaign caused a stampede, killing at least 40 people and injured many others.

According to sources, the petitioner argued that continuing political functions without accountability can cause more damage to the loss of life and the state should complete the intensive investigation before allowing fresh rallies.

The Tamil Nadu government has already ordered an inquiry, in which senior officials and top police have reviewed the laps. Political leaders, including Chief Minister MK Stalin, opposition leader Edappi’s Palaniswami and Sangh leaders, expressed grief in party lines and called for strict measures to prevent recurrence.

On Sunday, TVK chief Vijay contacted the Madras High Court and investigated a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) or Special Investigation Team (SIT) and investigated Stamped, in which about 40 people died on Saturday.
