New Delhi: Famous filmmaker Pragya Kapoor, who is known for her work on Kedarnath and Chandigarh cars, is advocating a conscious and sustainable life through her environmental initiative, together – The Earth Foundation. On the occasion of World Earth Day 2025, Kapoor reflected the foundation and influence of the foundation, calling for collective responsibility in front of climate change.
Speaking on the importance of the day, Kapoor emphasized the urgency of taking action. He said, “World Earth Day is a clear reminder of what we are leaving behind for our children. Why not leave a world back, which can make the future generation the most? The growing heat and melting ice hats are signs that the planet needs,” she said.
He said, “A sixty foundation continuously celebrates love for our earth by working towards achieving a better tomorrow. We have organized many gardens and cleaning drives, garbage recycled tones – all with the sole purpose of a conscious future building. The need is responsible for the hour, and even little efforts can be made.”

Dustbin installing and improving hygiene infrastructure

One of the notable initiatives of the Foundation, ‘Swachh Kokri Sundar Kokri’ aims to convert slum settlements into waste-free communities. Additionally, Project Elephanta is currently in its early stages, which targets the improvement of waste management systems in important areas.
The Foundation plays an important role as a special NGO partner for Carter Beach and Mangrove Cleanup efforts, which has been removed by more than 60,000 kg of sea waste.
Beyond her environmental activism, Pragya Kapoor continues to make waves in Indian cinema. His production house is known for telling unconventional and impressive story stories, including the first zero-waste film of the Chandigarh car- India- and Kedarnath, among others.
