The museum police in Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday (June 7, 2025) on the basis of a complaint filed by a female employee of his daughter Diya’s firm on the basis of kidnapping and extortion. A case was registered against Krishnakumar and his family.
According to the complainant, he was kidnapped by Shri Krishnakumar and Diya and the money was fired from him, the police said.
Embezzlement case against employee
On the other hand, the police has also registered a case of embezzlement against the female employee based on the complaint filed by Shri Krishnakumar and his daughter.
Talk to HinduSub Inspector Vipin, who is investigating the case, said that the two sides have raised a group of allegations against each other in their complaints. Although the police have registered two cases, but in the cases and steps will be raised only after seeing their allegations and qualifications of claims, SI said.
Talking to the media, Shri Krishnakumar said that three women employees working in his daughter’s firm had embezzled with the firm with about ’69 lakhs when she was staying away from the shop in relation to Diya’s pregnancy. As the issue came to light and started police proceedings against the accused, the accused women employees approached them and after asking for time to return the remaining money, initially paid around ₹ 8 lakh.
However, he requested us not to file a complaint, he later changed his stand and threatened my daughter on the phone, after which a police complaint was filed on May 30 or 31, claimed. The new complaint is a counter-complaint. “We, however, understand that the police registered cases against all six members of my family under non-bailable provisions, including my son-in-law,” he said.
He also brought this issue to the attention of the Chief Minister’s Office through an email.
He presented electronic evidence, including the video, embezzlement of employees and his subsequent entry of guilt before the police.
