Carpet in Met Gala 2025
Every year, the carpet of the Met Gala passes through its recurrence, metamorphing every time with a new theme. In 2023, one saw an amazing off-white fabric, to have a canvas for the subject of the year: Carl Leargfeld: A Line of Beauty. Woven by Extravev, the original company of Neite Homes from Kerala, Met Gala took 480 people to work on carpets for 90 days to meet the standards. But this is not new to them. The company did its first gala outing in 2022. It also erased the carpet next year.

“We have been working closely with the Met Gala team for three years and we are proud that the carpet we make is a canvas for the prestigious program,” Siwan says.
