Kesari Chapter 2 Box Office: ‘Kesari Chapter 2’ starring Akshay Kumar and R Madhavan has left for a strong start at the domestic box office. The historic courtroom drama, which hit theaters on Friday, was confirmed by the manufacturers on Sunday, recking in a trap of ₹ 17.92 crore in just two days.
The film, which also includes Ananya Pandey in a decisive role, investigates the low-term story around the Jalianwala Bagh massacre. ‘Kesari Chapter 2’, directed by the first filmmaker Karan Singh Tyagi and supported by Dharma Productions, brings to light an important chapter from India’s freedom struggle.

The production house shared box office figures through X (East Twitter), offering a day-wise breakdown: The film opened with and 7.84 crores on Friday and increased to ₹ 10.08 crore on Saturday.

About Kesari Chapter 2
The film is based on the book ‘The Case That Shuk The Empire’, which is a co-writer by Raghu Palat-C. Shankaran Nair’s great-grandson-and Pushpa Palat. This reflects the 1924 defamation trial, where Nair was sued by a fearless lawyer and former Lieutenant Governor of Punjab, Michael O’Dwire, former Punjab, a former Punjab National Congress. Nair openly criticized British atrocities in his book, including a scary account of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.
