He was stabbed six times, suffering two deep wounds, one of which was near the spinal cord.
Reports also suggest that Saif was trying to protect Kareena Kapoor Khan and his children Jeh and Taimur from the attacker. The official statement of the police said that whether Saif was directly injured, or was injured in the scuffle, it has not been decided yet.
Doctors updated that a piece of knife was found in Saif Ali Khan’s spinal cord, which has now been removed.
New flaws have come to light in this, which were captured in CCTV cameras.
There is also speculation that a domestic help may also be involved in this. Police said the intruder was well aware of the layout of the building and had entered the upper floor of the building through the fire shaft.
A suspect was taken into custody this morning.
