Action thriller directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat Strike The film has earned Rs 3.55 crore within two days of its release, the makers said on Sunday. The Hindi film, produced by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment, is being described as the “most violent film made in India”.
The film stars Lakshya, Raghav Juyal and Tanya Maniktala in the lead roles. Strike The film released in theatres on Friday. Dharma Productions released the latest box office figures of the film on its official X page.
According to the manufacturers, Strike It grossed ₹1.35 crore on its opening day in India and an additional ₹2.20 crore on Saturday, taking its total domestic box office gross to ₹3.55 crore.
This Hindi-language film is the story of Indian Army commando Amrit (Lakshya), who finds his love in Tulika (Maniktala). But, things go awry when the lovers find themselves stranded on a train, which is taken over by Phani (Juyal) and his gang, who begin brutally killing the passengers.
Strike It had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival last year, where it received a good response from the audience. It was also selected as the first runner-up in the People’s Choice Midnight Madness Award category.

A few days before its release, it was announced that American filmmaker Chad Stahelski would helm an English-language remake of the film. Strike for Lionsgate through his banner 87Eleven Entertainment.
Stahelski, best known for directing the Hollywood blockbuster franchise john wick Keanu Reeves, starring, described the film as “one of the most vibrant, wild and creative action movies” he had seen recently. Strike It also stars Ashish Vidyarthi and Harsh Chhaya in pivotal roles.
