Actor Kim Suu-Hune is ready to break her silence on her relationship with late actress Kim Sai-Ron for the first time on Monday.
On Sunday night, his agency, Goldmartist announced that the actor would address a dispute around his relationship during a press conference at Stanford Hotel in Western Seoul. The program, scheduled for 4:30 pm, will also include Kim Jong-Block, a lawyer of LKB & Partners.
However, the agency clarified that Kim Suu-Hune would not question the media.
“We have a deep regret of creating anxiety with recent developments,” the goldmedalist said in an official press release. “Actor Kim Suu-Hune, with LKB & Partners, will present his side of the story at the press conference.”
The controversy began when Kim Sa-Ron’s family spoke through a far-flung YouTube channel Hoverlab on 10 March, alleging that Kim Suu-Hune was in a relationship with her daughter for six years, when she was 15 years old, she was a minor. The channel has since released several pictures and videos that allegedly document their time together.
Initially, the Goldmartist denied the allegations, but later admitted that the two were romantically joined, saying that their relationship did not begin before Kim Sai-Ron was 19 years old.
Tension increased on 27 March when Kim Sai-Ron’s family counsel presented the Kakotok messages, allegedly exchangeed as evidence during a press conference between the two in June 2016.
In leaked texts, Kim Sai Ron allegedly sent Kim Suu Hyun to which emozis, for which he replied, “Do it for real later.”
Another set of leaked messages from April 2018 shows Kim Suu Hyun eager to meet Kim Sai Ron, even asking him to cancel his other plans.
In a conversation by 11 April (translated by Korebo), Kim Suu Hyun allegedly invited the late actress to her home. He wrote, “Do not go home and come to me!” To which Kim Sai Ron replied, “Now? Okay.”
In another chat, Kim Sai Ron asked if he should meet that night. Kim Suu Hyun replied with fickleness, “It seems that we will have fun all night … ㅇㅅㅇ … Ahaha.”
One of the most controversial messages dated on April 13 was in Kim Suu Hyun Texting, “I am washing clothes! I took off all my clothes! It likes it … (They mentioned the popular Anime Dragon Ball).”
On 16 February, Kim Sai Ron was found dead at his residence in Seoul. According to Seongdong police, he died of suicide.
