BTS member Kim Taehyung aka V has announced his Type 1 photobook. Speaking on Weverse on Wednesday, Taehyung shared details about the photobook, which captures his “moments of complete relaxation, revealing his spontaneous and natural self”. About the photobook
The statement read, “Hi. We are excited to announce the release of the V Type 1 photobook. The photobook captures moments of V’s complete relaxation, showcasing his spontaneous and easy-going nature as he takes a break from his busy schedule to spend some time alone.”
V’s participation in the photobook
It added, “V participated in every stage of the planning and creation, from selecting the travel destination to deciding on the title and the photobook’s components, resulting in a 224-page photobook that captures various moments he wants to share with ARMY.”
The statement said, “Each chapter of the photobook will not only help you get to know V, aka Kim Taehyung, in-depth, but the photobook will also serve as a precious item in your collection, including items such as bookmarks, postcard sets, and photo stickers that capture the adventurous vibes of travel. Type 1, a collage of V’s personal choices, is available for pre-order from June 27 and will be officially released on July 9.” V also shared a teaser on X.

The pre-order for the photobook will start on June 27 (KST) at 11 AM (Thursday). It will be released on Weverse Shop Global on July 9, Weverse Shop US on July 30 (PDT), and Weverse Shop Japan and Universal Music Japan on July 26. In addition to the photobook, there will also be a bookmark, a postcard set, a photo sticker, and a cutting sticker.
