Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 Movie Review | Kapil Sharma’s film is a must watch, the film is a comedy-love cocktail.

When Kapil Sharma rose to fame with his comedy talk show in 2013, his jokes meant nothing. With a fast-paced delivery and a recognizable, middle-class appeal to his personality, Kapil often made others laugh by making fun of him. The weak were the victims of his mockery. Still, there was something special about him. It wasn’t just what he said, but how he said it that was impressive. Kapil’s comic timing was excellent.
A few years later, this came to light when she made her film debut in ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karun’, a fun comedy-drama in which she showcased her flirtatious personality in a polygamous story. The film was an out-of-control, reactionary mind expansion of the show written by the same writer, Anukalpa Goswami, replete with snarky comments and some vulgar comments. A lot has changed in ‘Kis Kisco Pyaar Karoon 2’ as it returns to the same story, which has surprisingly been tweaked a lot. As for Kapil and Anukalpa, it seems they have wised up with time, the writing now has a clear conscience and the punchlines are heartwarming. Kapil is coming back after a long time with his new movie ‘Kis Kisko Pyar Karoon 2’. The first film made the audience laugh out loud, but will the second installment be able to repeat the same magic? Let’s find out.

Kiss Kiss 2: The Story

If you have watched the first part of ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’ in 2015, then the premise of the story will sound familiar to you. The film opens with Mohan, an innocent Hindu boy, portrayed in Kapil Sharma’s signature style. Mohan is deeply in love with Sanya played by Heera Varina. Mohan is ready to go to any extent for love, even changing his religion. But fate has other plans.

Caught up in the complications of his marriage with Sanya, Mohan’s life reaches a turning point where he marries not one but three women of different religions. Just by listening to it you can guess what kind of comedy this movie is based on. Kapil’s on-screen companions include Meera (Tridha Chaudhary), whom he marries after converting to Hinduism. Roohi (Ayesha Khan), for whom he pretends to be Mahmood, and Jenny (Parul Gulati), for whom he pretends to be Michael.
Mohan’s intentions are not bad; He is a good hearted person who wants to keep everyone happy. But this very goodness traps the story in a tangled web. Three wives, three identities and a poor Mohan – things take a turn for the worse when his first love, Sanya, knocks on his door again. As Mohan approaches the threshold of his fourth marriage, all three of his wives come to know the truth. What happens next? You will know this only after watching the movie.

Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2: Acting

Talking about performance, Kapil Sharma has once again proved that his style is different. This time he has shown more control and grip in his acting. She is also looking better than before in emotional scenes.
Tridha Chaudhary impresses with her balanced performance. Ayesha Khan grabs people’s attention with her beauty and screen presence. Parul Gulati’s character may be small but she has played her character with sincerity. Hira Varina proves to be the weakest link, her dialogues lack the necessary emotional depth, and her expressions often turn to overacting.
Seeing Asrani on screen for the last time is a great experience. Just their presence makes the atmosphere light and fun. Meanwhile, Johnny Lever’s daughter Jamie Lever is amazing. He has proved that comedy talent is in his blood. His timing is excellent, and his presence on screen is refreshing.

What doesn’t work in Kis Kisko Pyaar Karon 2?

The lack of new twists in the story seems disappointing. The film could not completely come out of the shadow of its first part. If you look for logic, you will be disappointed, because many situations seem unrealistic. Some scenarios seem like they are based on tried and tested formulas.

Who Loves 2: The Verdict

This movie is family friendly and no bold content or scenes will make you uncomfortable. Many dialogues will make you laugh out loud. Although the film has its flaws, it still manages to entertain.
If you want to watch a light-hearted, mind-blowing comedy with your family this weekend, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karo 2 is a great choice. The film neither impresses nor disappoints, which makes it perfect for a one-time viewing. If you want to laugh and forget your stress, this movie is worth your time in the theater.
Kapil Sharma’s ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’ 2 out of 5 gave 3 stars.
