Mumbai: The trailer of Kay Kay Menon’s detective series ‘Shekhar Home’ has been released. The series also stars Ranveer Shorey, Rasika Duggal and Kirti Kulhari.
According to a statement, the serial is set in the early 1990s in the sleepy town of Lonpur in Bengal, when technology was unheard of and human intelligence was the only thing one could rely on.
Kay Kay Menon plays the lead role of Shekhar Hom, who is both eccentric and brilliant. “By fate he meets Jayavrat Sahni, a middle-aged bachelor played by Ranvir Shorey, who becomes an unexpected ally, and together they embark on a journey to solve mysteries across eastern India. The duo get to the bottom of cases ranging from blackmail and murder to supernatural occurrences. Shekhar’s sharp wit becomes his greatest weapon as he delves into a world where criminals lurk in unexpected places, ensuring that each revelation is both surprising and thrilling.”

Rasika also expressed her happiness. She said, “Working on Shekhar Home has been a fun journey. My character, Iraboti, is a force – a strong, determined woman driven by her quest for justice. Her journey is fascinating and the dynamic between Shekhar and Iraboti adds even more mystery to it. Their bond that develops through shared challenges and discoveries gives a glimpse of a partnership that goes far beyond solving the case,” she shared.
