Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said in a message on ‘X’ that the death of actor Kota Srinivasa Rao, who won the cinema audience’s affection with his versatile roles, was deeply saddened.
He said that Srinivas Rao’s artistic contribution in cinema and theater areas for about four decades and the roles she portrayed was unforgettable.
Mr. Naidu said, “Many roles played by Srinivasa Rao as a villain and character artist will remain in the hearts of the Telugu people,” Mr. Naidu said, seeing that the experienced actor served the people of Vijayawada as an MLA and his death was an irreparable loss.

Deputy CM K. Pawan Kalyan said in his condolence message that he was deeply saddened by the death of Srinivasa Rao, who stood as a symbol of versatile acting in the Telugu film industry. Increasing the talent of Srinivasa Rao, Mr. Kalyan said that he played various roles as a villain and a character artist and his command of the Telugu language and its dialects were unprecedented.

YSR Congress Party President and former CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said in his condolence message that Srinivasa Rao, with his various demonstrations, left his unqualified mark on the film industry behind and his death is a disadvantage for the film industry.
BJP state president PVN Madhav said that Srinivasa Rao made a permanent impression as a film actor and a politician (Vijayawada East MLA from 1999 to 2004). Although he played a variety of roles in cinema, in real life, Srinivasa Rao was a gentle, sociable and warm person, and his death was an irreparable loss for the BJP and his fans.
Tourism, Culture and Cinematography Minister Kandula Durgesh expressed condolences on the death of Srinivasa Rao and said the talent with which he played a diverse role in more than 750 films, was matchless.
“Srinivasa Rao filled the zero left by SV Ranga Rao, Kaikala Satyanarayana and Rao Gopal Rao, who had legends in the Telugu film industry,” said Mr. Durgesh.
