Pruthvi Ambaar, who plays the lead role Kothalvadi, It was expected that the film was promoted as the face. However, those who have seen the latest Kannada release will agree that it is gifted Gopalakrishna Deshpande who steals the show in rural plays. Deshpande is the only actor who receives a proper character arc in the film, and he does complete justice for his role, becomes the only positive aspect Kothalvadi.
After excellent performance as a cowardly policeman who gradually collects courage to make a dangerous gangster Nab Garuda Gamna Vrisha Varna, Deshpande shows its limits Kothalvadi, Where he plays the owner of a clever junk-dukan who becomes a magnificent politician. In the film directed by Mr. Raju ji, Deshpande plays the role of a cunning man, who encourages the poor named Kothalvadi to indulge in the sand mafia. He assures innocents that this illegal activity is the only way to get out of poverty, while all misleading conspiracy to become a local MLA.

Kothalvadi (Kannada)
Director: Mr. Raju ji
Mold: Pruthavi Ambar, Gopalakrishna Deshpande, Kavya Shiva, Rajesh Natrang
Runtime: 144 minutes
Story: In the village of Kothalvadi, greed sparks anarchy as a cruel scrap dealer, which manipulates desperate villagers in illegal sand mining, uses them as claws in their search for power.
Deshpande has enjoyed playing the role of Babana, which is deliberately conceived as an over-the-top and caricaturish. Sadly, the solid character lives as a standalone attraction Kothalvadi Director Sriraj fails to be correct. Sriraj’s writing fails to provide appropriate arch to the major characters of the film.
At the beginning of the film, we feel that it is a story of a rebel orphan, Mohana (Pruthavi) in Kothalvadi. Gradually, the focus replaces Babanna, which uses Mohana as a tool to complete its nefarious activities. Among these characters, there is an honest policeman (Rajesh Natrang), who is trying to maintain law and order in Kothalwadi to curb the sand mafia. Except Babana, none of other characters have been written with adequate layers to feel like real, weak people.
Kothalvadi It takes a long time to go. The entire first half is dedicated to character development for a film that is not so complicated. A well -employed montage must have expressed the same information. The second half suffers from surface-level treatment of several subplots. The results of the sand mafia, the opponent’s rugs-to-riches, and the world of an honest police have not been well balanced to create a consistent story.
