In an NDTV review, film critic Saibal Chatterjee gave L2: Empuran 2.5 out of 5 stars. He wrote, “The film is more courageous than glory, more flash than perfection. Yet it cannot be defeated with the exception of some visual effects in terms of its technical characteristics that are underdeveloped for a film of this scale and ambition.”
