A week after the announcement of an industry-wide strike by the Kerala Film Producers Association (KFPA), producer Antony Perumbavur slammed the verdict. Antony, who owns the popular banner Ashirvad theaters, took Facebook KFPA Vice President G to criticize Suresh Kumar.
“Calling for the strike is not the right decision. This will affect many families. Perhaps he (Suresh Kumar) was pressurized by some corners to announce the strike, ”Antony wrote.

Members of the Kerala Film Producers Association, Film Employees Federation of Kerala, Film Exhibitors United Organization of Kerala and Kerala Film Distributors Association were involved in a meeting, resulting in calling for industry-wide strike from June 1, 2025. Considering the end of dual taxation on film tickets and the increasing cost of filmmaking, a pay cut by the actors.

The film is also not complete as it is in the final stages of pre-production. Antony’s post received the support of Prithviraj, who shared it on his social media handle.
