L2: Rajinikanth saw the Imapuran trailer for the first time, reveals Prithviraj

Chennai: Director Prithviraj Sukumaran has now revealed that it was Tamil superstar Rajinikanth, who was the first person to see the trailer of his much awaited political thriller L2: Emapuran, leading Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, and praised him.

Taking his timeline on X on Tuesday, Prithviraj posted a picture of himself with Rajinikanth and wrote, “To see the trailer of #L2E #Puraan I will always say that this is the world for me!

With less than 10 days to go for the release of the film, the makers of the film have extended promotional activities. Already, the Censor Board of Film Certification has approved the film to release the UA 16+ rating. The certified length of the film is 179.52 meters.

Ampuran is the sequel to Lucifer, which moved forward for a big success. Prithviraj Sukumaran, in addition to directing the film, also plays the character of Zaid Masood-the commando of the Bhade who leads the hit force of the infamous Nexus Qureshi-Abhama in the Lucifer franchise.

Recalling that the audience was introduced into a complex world in Lucifer, Prithviraj earlier said in a video clip that in the second part, this complexity would be deeper.

He said, “The number of characters increases. Mohanlal-Starr L2: Empuran (L2E) is now being jointly produced by Antony Perumbavur, Laika Productions and Sri Gokulam films. The story of the film is written by Murali Gopi and its music is composed by Deepak Dev. The film stars Cinematography by Sujit Vasudev and Akhilesh Mohan. The first part of the franchise released in 2019, ‘Lucifer’ and who first marked under the direction of actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, emerged a blockbuster in just eight days.

It made more than Rs 200 crore, making it the highest grossing Malayalam film. There is no need to say expectations from the sequel, which is determined to hit the screen on 27 March this year, has increased. ,
