After months of speculation, Gaga, who was promoting the May 25 premiere of her upcoming HBO concert film “Gaga Chromatica Ball,” finally responded to the rumors.

Gaga’s most recent solo release was Chromatica in 2020, followed by Love for Sale, a duet album with the late Tony Bennett, in 2021.

When asked when fans would see this “completely different project”, Gaga said: “They get offended when I say, ‘soon,’ but soon.”

He was also asked about reuniting with Queen Bey. Without ruling out any new collaborations with her, the 38-year-old “Just Dance” entertainer said, “Whenever Beyoncé calls, I love picking up the phone.”

Lady Gaga reveals she performed five shows with Covid

Ahead of the screening, Gaga also spoke to Access Hollywood’s Scott Evans, and said she was “extremely lucky to be here with all of you.”

Showing her happiness, the diva told the crowd of hundreds of fans. “It was a very special time. This tour happened at a time when people didn’t even think you could tour [amid the pandemic] And stadiums were full all over the world and tickets were sold out, everybody was dressed up and dancing and singing.”

During the discussion, Gaga revealed that she “did five shows with COVID,” adding that she shared the experience with her staff.

“I said, ‘I don’t want anyone to feel uncomfortable at work and you don’t have to show up and work that day, but I’m going to do the show’ because I didn’t want to let all the fans down. And the way I looked at it is, the fans were putting themselves at risk every day to come to the show.”

This update about Gaga’s new album comes at a time when fans are preparing to see Mother Monster play the iconic DC Comics villain “Harley Quinn” in the highly-anticipated ‘Joker: Folie a Deux’ movie, which is set to release on October 4.
