Alberto Crescenti, head of Buenos Aires emergency services, said, “Based on what the team saw, he had a fractured skull and extremely serious injuries that led to his immediate death.”
“The team could do absolutely nothing. Resuscitation efforts were futile, as it was confirmed that he was already dead. There were very serious injuries all over the body,” he said.

Payne was behaving ‘erratic’
Horrifying details of Liam Payne’s final moments have emerged in a 911 call. Eyewitnesses reported that the singer was behaving erratically and had to be physically restrained before he fell fatally. Hotel reception staff made a desperate call to emergency services, describing Payne as “devastated” and in need of immediate assistance.

They should be in a room that has a balcony. And well, we are a little worried that he will do something, putting his life at risk,” the manager was heard informing the police after sharing the location of the hotel.

Pablo Polisicchio, a representative of the Buenos Aires Security Ministry, said that the musician had “jumped” from the balcony of his hotel room.
