Amidst the controversies around Kim Sai-Ron, actor Kim Suu-Hune and his agency, gold medalist, now the late actress Suli (Choi Jin Ri) has been accused of filming a clear scene for the 2017 film. Real,
The allegations were raised by Suli’s brother, Choi da Hi, who questioned why he had to film the scene, why a body double was not used and if anyone was available, why the sequence was shot in a different way.
Following the allegations, the gold medalist issued a detailed statement, denying any wrongdoing. The agency clarified that Suli was informed about the scene before filming and was never forced into it. He also claimed that a body double was available, but was not used.
According to him, the role of the song You Hwa, painted by Suli, naturally incorporated the bed scene and it was reported before casting.
The agency said, “We believe that discussing such scenes can only put improper pressure or create a feeling of forced to the actor.”
The agency, along with Real Director Lee Ro B shared that both Suli and her former agency were provided with complete information about the scene. This included a script underlining the sequence, visual references that specifies the level of essential nudity and a contract to detail these conditions.
The version of the script given to the late actress and her then agency included the bed scene and the character briefing material for Song You Hwa, including visual references for the level of nudity, “the gold medalist, who is in the co-ownership of Kim Suu Hune and her cousin Li Sa rang, said in a statement through MK Sports.
Regarding the use of a body double, the agency said that while a stand-in camera was present for technical aspects such as positioning and blocking, no one else performed the scene in place of Suli. He also attached a written statement from Real’s Assistant Director, Kim Jung OK and Script Supervisor, Lee June Hyun, who was present during the filming, as evidence supporting their claims.
Additionally, the agency drove Kim Suu-Hune from controversy, saying that he had no role beyond acting in the film.
“Kim Suu Hyun, who appeared in the film, was not included in the landscape, storyboard, or filming decisions, which are fully under the domain of the production team. As confirmed by the members of the prominent employees, both the late actresses and their agency had full knowledge of the role requirements,” the statement said.
Suli’s brother also tried to silence his mother on the gold medalist. The agency denied this, saying, “We have never approached the actress’s mother and have no contact information.” He urged the public to avoid spreading uneven claims, emphasizing that it was misleading to see rebuilding previous events and present them as personal experiences.
“We understand that there may be any curiosity about the truth of some of the statements hearing at the funeral. However, now six years ago to bring out an incident, and posting things on social media such as they were personal experiences when they were not factual, it is difficult for us to accept.”
Meanwhile, Kim Suu Hyun is also working with another controversy. He and his legal team recently denied allegations about their previous relationship with Kim Sai-Ron. The claims, which came out through the family of Garo Sero Institute and Kim Sai Ron, suggested that the two were romantically involved when Sai-Ron were minors.
The actor’s team denied this, clarifying that most of the photos were taken when the two were adults and their relationship lasted for about one and a half years. Despite this, Garo Sero has continued to release additional materials to support his claims.
