Recently the internet went into a stir when rumors of Leonardo DiCaprio’s engagement to his girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti spread into the public domain. However, as reported by Page Six, the actor hasn’t popped the question to the model. The rumor reportedly started on the famous fan-driven gossip page Deux Moi, which received an email tip.

DiCaprio is not engaged to his girlfriend Ceretti
“It’s nothing more than an Internet rumor,” a source told the news outlet, adding that engagement rumors about the actor, who recently celebrated his 50th birthday, “come in every month.” Earlier, rumors had surfaced in March when she was seen wearing a new ring instead of the main jewelery on her left hand. Ciretti showed off the ring while having lunch with DiCaprio at Yuca, a Mexican restaurant in Los Angeles.
The Italian model and the Hollywood A-lister first sparked dating rumors in 2023 when the two were spotted dancing together at a club in Ibiza, Spain. She was also present at DiCaprio’s 50th birthday party, which was attended by other celebrities such as Steven Spielberg, Robert De Niro, Brad Pitt, Dr. Dre, Jamie Foxx, and Paris Hilton.
Others spotted at the festivities included Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, Robin Thicke, Mark Ruffalo and many more.

DiCaprio and Ceretti are serious
Although Cerretti may not have a ring on her finger after months of dancing together in Fiji, a source tells SELF the two are serious. “They’ve been spending a lot of time together over the past few months, and they’re enjoying getting to know each other on a deeper level,” the source told the news outlet at the time.
Ceretti and DiCaprio celebrated their last Thanksgiving in London with the former’s family, and they were spotted bonding with the actor’s mother, Irmelin Indenbirken, and his longtime best friend, Tobey Maguire.
