Actress Divya Seth Shah shared the news of her daughter Mihika Shah’s untimely death on Tuesday. 20-year-old Mihika died on August 5. According to reports, she suffered a stroke after she suffered a fever. Recently, the actress shared a picture on Instagram. In the picture, Divya and Mihika are seen flashing their biggest smiles. Captioning the post, Divya wrote, “Thank you for being mine.” She also used the infinity symbol and broken heart emoticon.
Actor Rohit Roy also paid an emotional tribute to Divya’s daughter. He wrote on Instagram, “You may be the child of different parents but you will always be my baby girl… You are the sweetest and most sensitive child I have ever known and I remember how excited you were to give your mummy a perfect birthday… When you said bye Rohit papa, not even in my wildest dreams did I think you meant it. Though I pray that you get out of wherever you went comfortably, I also pray that you get back to your parents in some form or the other… See you soon Mihika. I love you. RIP.”
Divya, known for popular TV shows Hum Log, Banegi Apni Baat and film Dil Dhadakne Do, took to Facebook to inform that a prayer meeting will be held on Thursday evening in memory of her late daughter. “With great sadness, we inform you of the demise of our beloved Mihika Shah, who passed away on August 5, 2024,” said a joint statement from Divya and her husband Siddharth Shah. The prayer meeting was held at Sindh Colony Club House in Mumbai.
Divya, daughter of veteran actress Sushma Seth, did not reveal the cause of Mihika’s death or her age.
