Liam Payne died after falling from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires. Local police confirmed that the incident occurred at a hotel on Costa Rica Street in Palermo. As soon as the news of her death came out, Maya has been receiving hate comments on her latest Instagram post.
Liam’s fans have flooded Maya’s comments section with hateful comments. One fan wrote, “Are you happy now? Liam didn’t deserve this ending. Another said, “It’s all your fault.”
“Wow, a man is dead now. Always be kind, delete all the hateful tik toks you won. He is gone. RIP,” a third user said. One fan wrote, “Liam Payne died because of you”, while another shared, “Are you happy?”
“Are you okay now?” read one comment, with another commenting, “Happy? You need to be careful with your words”.
“You know what you did,” one fan wrote. Another user shared, “Now all the attention is on you.”
Maya gets some support
Amidst all the hatred, a section of social media users came out in support of Maya, with some even asking her to close her comment section. “Maya, I’m sorry everyone is blaming you for talking about what you’ve been through, please don’t let them humiliate you, you have every right to speak on this,” one said. wrote,
Another said: “People blaming her for Liam’s death is so stupid. Victims are allowed to tell their stories, she couldn’t have imagined such a death. You all need to grow up”.
Their relationship was full of ups and downs. According to the Daily Mail, just days before Liam’s death, Maya, 23, reportedly issued him a cease-and-desist letter after she alleged he contacted her. The former couple reportedly got engaged before ending their relationship in 2022. In a TikTok posted on October 6, Maya claimed that her ex, whom she does not name but associates with ‘One Direction fans’, continues to send her messages.
At the time of his death Liam was dating model Kate Cassidy. He was previously with Cheryl Cole. They welcomed their son, named Bear, in 2017.

A former One Direction band member reportedly died after falling from a third-floor hotel room in Argentina on Wednesday. He was reportedly acting erratically before the tragedy, with some reports stating that he had broken his laptop in the hotel lobby, after which he was escorted to his room with the help of bystanders.
According to a local TV broadcast in Argentina, a 911 call audio has been released in which the hotel owner is describing Liam as a “guest who is under the influence of drugs or alcohol and is destroying the entire room.” The owner is requesting assistance. Tara was found dead at around 5 pm local time. He began his trip to Argentina earlier this year to reconcile with former bandmate Niall Horan, who was due to perform in the South American country. Investigation is going on regarding his death.
