Lisa Kudrow has clarified her feelings about having a live audience on the set of popular sitcom Friends, following her former co-star Jennifer Aniston’s comments that Lisa “hates” it.
Lisa revealed that she didn’t hate live audiences, but sometimes found their reactions too much. Jennifer had revealed in a previous interview that Lisa didn’t like live audiences during her Friends days. The two actors have had a very close relationship since working on the 90s sitcom.

Lisa denies claims Jennifer ‘hated’ live audience on set
In an exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight, Lisa said she thought they would sometimes laugh too much. “No, not like that at all — no, no. I would get irritated if they laughed for too long,” she responded to Jennifer’s earlier claims.
He added, “God bless them. They were so excited to be there that sometimes their laughter would last longer than they would laugh at anything else. I was like, ‘OK, take it easy. This isn’t that funny. And there’s so much more to say!'”
Jennifer’s claim came from her interview with Quinta Brunson for Variety’s Actors for Actors a while back, where she spoke about Lisa’s dislike of the audience while filming Friends. She recalled, “By the way, Lisa Kudrow hated the audience laughing… She’d say, ‘I’m not done yet! This isn’t that funny!'”
