Shahrukh Khan is currently in Locarno, Switzerland. Shahrukh, who came to attend the Locarno Film Festival this year, has been honored with a special award. Shahrukh has been awarded the prestigious Pardo alla Carriera Award for his significant contribution to Indian cinema.
Ahead of the awards ceremony, the official Instagram handle of the Locarno Film Festival shared a glimpse of the actor as he checked in in Switzerland. In the picture, Shah Rukh is seen wearing a stylish black blazer and matching trousers. He completed his look with a stylish wrist watch and a pendant necklace.
The caption read, “Shah Rukh Khan (@iamsrk) arrives at the 77th edition of the Locarno Film Festival to accept the Pardo alla Carriera Ascona-Locarno Tourism. Upon arrival, Pardo sat down for a unique photoshoot with Shah Rukh Khan.”

Khan is a king who has never lost touch with his audience. This bold and daring artist has always been willing to challenge himself.”
For those who don’t know, the Locarno Film Festival, founded in 1946, is one of the oldest annual film festivals in the world with a focus on auteur cinema. The 77th edition of the festival will screen 225 films, including 104 world premieres and 15 debut films.
Shah Rukh Khan made a grand comeback in 2023. He starred in the blockbuster hit Pathan alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. Next, he appeared in Atlee’s critically and commercially acclaimed film young Featuring Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, Vijay Sethupathi and Deepika Padukone, she ended the year with a Rajkumar Hirani film. Moving forward, Shah Rukh Khan will reportedly be seen in a film titled KingIn a viral clip of him congratulating Santosh Sivan for receiving the prestigious Pierre Agennieux Excellence Lens Award at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, fans spotted a script for King placed on the table next to the actor.
