Lollapalooza India will be held in Mumbai on March 8 and 9, 2025. The organisers announced the schedule for this edition on Tuesday.
Organisers of the two-day musical extravaganza Lollapalooza India on Tuesday unveiled the line-up for its 2025 edition. Global sensations like Green Day and Shawn Mendes will headline the festival next year, while emerging talents like Hanumankind will also grace the stage. Lollapalooza line-up
The multi-genre music festival Lollapalooza will return to India with its third edition on March 8 and 9, 2025. Artists from genres such as pop, rock, hip-hop, EDM and techno will perform in this edition, which will run for 20 hours and across 4 stages.
Here are the key players for the next edition:
Green Day
The American rock band, which comprises lead vocalist and guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong, bassist and backing vocalist Mike Dirnt and drummer Tré Cool, will be performing in India for the first time in their career spanning over 35 years. The five-time Grammy Award-winning band announced on their Instagram handle on Tuesday morning that they will be headlining Lollapalooza India 2025. They wrote, “Another first for us!! India, you’ve been calling our name… and it’s finally time to answer. We’ll see you next March in Mumbai for @LollaIndia (yo emoji).”

The 26-year-old Canadian popstar will also be performing at the festival. Sharing the line-up on her Instagram Stories, she wrote, “So excited @lollaindia (red heart emoji).”
Hanuman
Indian rapper Hanumankind recently gained international fame with his superhit English song Big Dogs. It has over 57 million views on YouTube. Written and composed by the artist, the song gained popularity for its political lyrics on the topic of identity and its creative music video set within a classic carnival attraction called the ‘Wall of Death’. Hanumankind, whose real name is Sooraj Cherukat, will also make his acting debut as Anurag Kashyap’s son in Aashiq Abu’s Malayalam gangster film Rifle Club. Ahead of Lollapalooza, Hanumankind is performing in Bengaluru and Mumbai on September 13 and 15 respectively.
Other cast members include Louis Tomlinson, Raftaar, Dot and Lisa Mishra, who recently made her acting debut with Call Me Bae.
