Washington: Oscar winning actress Lupita Nyyo clearly clarified about her health and shared conflicts with uterine fibroids, non-cancer development that developed in or around the uterus reported! news.
“In March 2014, I won an Academy Award. The same year, I came to know that I had uterine fibroids,” Lupita wrote in her Instagram post, “30 fibroids.” I underwent surgery to remove them. I asked my doctor that I can do anything that I can stop them from recurrence.
Ace Star shared that she did not realize the situation that she impressed many women until she discussed her experience “privately” with her internal circle.
“When we reach puberty, we are taught that periods mean pain, and this pain is only part of being a woman,” Lupita said. “We alone are struggling with something that affects us the most,” E told! news.
He continued, “We need to stop treating this huge issue like a series of unfortunate coincidences. We should reject the generalization of female pain.”
She said she is currently working with the US Congresswoman, offering a package of bills, which will “expand research funding, increase early identity and interference for uterine fibroids, study the causes of uterine cancer, and increase public awareness,” according to E! news.
“I imagine the future of elementary education for teenagers, better screening protocols, strong prevention research, and low aggressive treatment for uterine fibroids,” he wrote. “Let’s study women’s health and prioritize this chronic situation that has never been widely examined.”

Uterine fibroids can develop in all women of reproductive age. While many uterine fibroids have no symptoms, complications can arise and can cause heavy and painful duration, pelvic pressure, urination problems, infertility and loss of pregnancy according to the outlet.
