Actor Jitin Gulati, who is ready for the release of his upcoming film ‘Ma’, has said that the film mixes culturally rich folklore with state -of -the -art VFX.
The actor, who is known for work in shows like ‘Kaal’ and ‘Bombay Meri Jaan’, will be seen sharing the screen with Kajol in ‘Mala’.
Talking about the film, Gitin told IANS, “When I am excited to the audience to see my character, what exactly excite me, this film is completely. It is a complete culturally rich folklore with state -of -the -art VFX, creates an experience that I think will echo with the audience”.
He said, “The mythological horror has the ability to emerge as a powerful subgen, after all, mythology is woven deeply into our culture clothes”, he said.
Directed by Vishal Furia, ‘Ma’ promises to be an emotionally rich story that focuses around the subjects of mythology, motherhood, love and flexibility. With the name of the powerhouse, the film has already started discussing its rich story and with the project.
Earlier, the film’s poster was unveiled, and it is turning Kajol into a fierce warrior in its powerful new avatar for the film. The dramatic poster features a dark, stormy background feature, which emphasizes the supernatural or mythological tone of the film, with a bolt illuminating the scene. In the center, two letters are faced in a fierce collision. There is a glowing red eyes and a demonic shape with holy skin.
The film is directed by Vishal Furia, known for ‘Chaudhary’ and ‘Chori2’. The film is produced by Ajay Devgan and Jyoti Deshpande. The film also stars Indranil Sengpta, Ronit Roy, Prabhu Dev, Naseeruddin Shah, Samuktha, Jishu Sengupta, Aditya Seal, Pramod Pathak and Chhaya Kadam.
The actress had earlier indicated that her husband’s ‘devil’ is an extended universe, part of which is ‘Ma’. ‘Maa’ is about a woman going to length to save her daughter from evil. Other details about the film are under raps.
