Despite his mother’s $850 million net worth, David is working hard to take care of himself
David Banda is having to “wander in the woods” for food after his mother Madonna moved out of their home. Despite struggling to earn enough cash, the 18-year-old has a positive attitude towards his new lifestyle. David has moved into an apartment in the Bronx, New York, where he teaches online guitar lessons to make a living.

The teenage musician recently opened up about his new life in an interview with The Sun UK, and admitted he’s content. “I like it here. I’m not alone. I have a girlfriend. But I like it here,” he said of his partner Maria Atuesta. Despite his mother’s $850 million net worth, David is working hard to take care of himself.

“It’s great to experience that 9 o’clock feeling when I’m hungry and realize I don’t have any more food and money for it. It’s fun to be young,” she said on Instagram Live.
David also revealed that Madonna has a new man in her life following her split from Josh Popper. “Truth be told, she’s not single. She’s dating a guy… that’s her life. She’ll do what she wants to do,” he said of the 65-year-old Madonna’s relationship with Jamaican-born footballer Akeem Morris.

He further told the outlet that he is a big fan of the popular reality show Love Island. “Reality TV is great because it allows people to forget about their day and enter a virtual world where you can peek into other people’s lives. I love Love Island and Perfect Match,” he admitted.
The Material Girl hitmaker adopted David from Malawi with her ex-husband Guy Ritchie in 2006. While it’s unclear when David moved out of their home, Madonna said in July, “When I woke up in the hospital my first thought was my children,” amid her health scare.
