New Delhi: Acclaimed Telugu filmmaker Charan Tej Uppalapati, who is widely known for his exceptional cinematic vision, is making his much-awaited Hindi debut with the high-budget action thriller ‘Maharani – Queen of Queens’. Starring Kajol, Prabhu Deva, Naseeruddin Shah, Samyuktha Menon, Jisshu Sengupta and Aditya Seal, this much-awaited mass entertainer reunites the duo of Kajol and Prabhu Deva after 27 years.
Interestingly, the first schedule of ‘Maharani – Queen of Queens’ was recently completed and now the makers have released the official teaser of the film. The video begins with Prabhu Deva stepping out of a charter plane, gunning down a group of goons and setting the mood with his epic, badass persona. The action then shifts to Samyukta Menon, who shares her desire for revenge, amidst a high-stakes chase. The story further takes a new turn when Naseeruddin Shah shares his heartfelt last wish while lying on a hospital bed and Kajol emerges in her ‘Maharani’ avatar, delivering a powerful performance that exudes power and strength. The first look shows a mix of high-octane action and gripping drama.
This ambitious action thriller features top-notch technicians, including GK Vishnu as the director of photography, Harshvardhan Rameshwar as the music director, and Naveen Nooli as the editor. The screenplay is written by Niranjan Iyengar and Jessica Khurana, while production designer Sahi Suresh will craft the visual aesthetics.
