New Delhi: The makers have officially launched the much-awaited teaser of ‘Mahavatar Narasimha’, an animated series that promises to bring the timeless epic of faith and devotion from the Indian Puranas to the big screen. At the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI), ‘Mahavatar Narasimha’ was appreciated for its innovative graphics and uplifting storyline.
Directed by Ashwin Kumar, ‘Mahaavatar Narasimha’ is based on the story of the unwavering faith of devotee Prahlad and the incarnation of Lord Vishnu as Narasimha to conquer evil and restore hope to humanity. “This is a story that truly deserves to be told,” said the producers, who chose animation as the ideal medium to bring this epic story to life, drawing on the vividness and scale of the narrative.
