After a gap of seven years, Malayalam filmmaker Major Ravi (Kirti Chakra, Kandahar) is back as a director. His new film is titled Operation RahatThe film’s story and screenplay is written by Krishnakumar K, and it is produced by Ashlyn Marie Joy under the banner of Presidential Movies International.
Popular Tamil actor Sarath Kumar is set to play the lead role in the film. Operation Rahat was an operation conducted by the Indian Armed Forces to evacuate Indian citizens and foreigners from Yemen following the military intervention by Saudi Arabia and its allies in 2015.

Major Ravi is making a film based on this operation. This film will be released in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada languages. The cinematography of the film is done by Arjun Ravi and editing is done by Don Max. Ranjin Raj is its music composer.
