Director Arumugkumar’s upcoming action entertainer ‘Ace’, which has the lead role of ‘Makkal Selvan’ Vijay Sethupathi, has been announced on Saturday 23 May, 2025, its producers announced on Saturday.
The official announcement was made today with a special campaigner poster that has already started discussing among fans and enthusiasts of the film.
Apart from Vijay Sethupathi, ‘Ace’ will also include Rukmini Vasant, Yogi Babu, BS Avinash, Divya Pillai, Bablu and Rajkumar. The film is produced on a grand scale by Arumugkumar under the banner of 7Cs Entertainment and is deployed as a commercial action entertainer.

The cinematography of the film is handled by Karan Bahadur Rawat, in which Justin Prabhakaran composed the song and Sam CS scored background music. The film has been edited by Feni Oliver, and the art direction is overseen by Ak Muthu. Fully in Malaysia, Ace has already attracted immense attention through its title teaser, glimpse and songs, all of which have received huge positive response from the audience.
In January this year, the film’s makers released a glimpse video to mark the birthday of actor Vijay Sethupathi, which was a lot for the pleasure of the actor’s fans. Jhalak video removed the fact that Vijay Sethupathi plays a character called ‘Bold Kannan’ in this film.
The teaser showed Vijay walking confidently through an airport in Malaysia, while wearing a traditional Tamil dress. Jhalak also revealed that the film would have some high-octane action sequences set in weak commercial places. The Jhalak video has a shot of the actor dancing happily in the festival. These scenes indicate in the film packed with entertainment, action and cultural vibrancy.
