Mamta Kulkarni went out on a spiritual journey on Friday, giving up her worldly life and considering Mai Mamta Nand Giri’s new identity. A video of the actress being emotional during the ‘Sannyas’ ritual has gone viral on social media.
The clip shows the former actress crying while passing through the spiritual ceremony. This video shows Mamta preparing to take the path of renunciation during a seclusion at a spiritual center, which appears to be recorded during solitude.
In the video, she is seen wearing Rudraksha garland and wearing saffron -colored clothes.

According to media reports, ‘Karan Arjun’ fame actress officially took ‘retirement’ on Friday after reaching Kinnar Akhara during Mahakumbh. There he met Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Dr. Lakshmi Narayan Tripathi, who blessed him.
It is said that Mamta performed the Pindadan ritual at the Sangam and her coronation ceremony took place in the Kinnar Akhara. As part of the ceremony, he was also given a new spiritual name: ‘Shri Yamai Mamta Nand Giri’.
During a grand traditional ceremony, he has also been officially appointed as Mahamandaleshwar of Kinnar Akhara.
In an interview with IANS recently, Mamta shared the reasons for her long absence with both India and the entertainment industry. He told, “The reason for my quitting India was spirituality. In 1996, I turned to spirituality and at the same time I met Guru Gagan Giri Maharaj. After his arrival, my interest in spirituality increased and my penance started. It is believed that Bollywood gave me both names and fame.
