New Delhi:
Iranian model and actor Mandana Karimi has criticized several internet users, who criticize several internet users after Instagram Story, referring to Operation Sindoor.
The post, which has now disappeared from his profile, referred to terrorist camps in Pakistan and an anti-anticipatory strike of India on alleged citizen casualties.
He wrote, “The world is on fire, India is bombing Pakistani Kashmir, killing citizens and children. Israel killed a family in Khan Younis some time ago. America bombed Yemen, killed citizens yesterday.”
He added, “All these deaths are a direct response to the forces of the massacre, which has been learned from each other that you can take war crimes with impure, while the world swallows its tongue. Whether it is zeonism, Hindutva fascism or American extraordinary, imperialism continues to burn and burn in your way.”
The comments expressed displeasure online, several users asked Karimi to “go back to his country”. Karimi, who moved from Iran to India and has worked in the Indian film and modeling industry for years, has now shared a follow -up post responding to Bachalash.
In his latest Instagram post, he wrote, “Let me say this vigorously and clear: I have been in India for 16 years. I worked hard, adapted, contributed, and gave this place to love, effort and respect with my home.
He said, “There is one thing here: I have always been open, vocal and awake. But if I do not speak about anything, it is not my right about anything.
Karimi clarified that the purpose of his original message was to promote peace and not to target any religion or political ideology. She also expressed disappointment on online hatred and said that she is proud of her adopted country.
“And now, let’s talk about the facts. I am proud of India. I am proud of how far this country has come. I have deep respect for the Government of India. The actress has now removed this post.
Mandana Karimi, seen in Anil Kapoor-Abhinit Thar, came to India for her modeling and acting career, which would have been difficult to move forward under Iran’s orthodox laws.
While Karimi alleged civil casualties on his original post, the Indian government claimed that its attacks were accurate and only the terrorist infrastructure was targeted.
The operation was in response to a terrorist attack in Pahalgam last month, in which 26 people lost their lives. Internationally nominated terrorist Masood Azhar later confirmed that his family members were killed in the strike.
During the operation, Indian forces targeted nine terrorist sites in various regions in Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Iran offered to mediate peace talks between India and Pakistan before the May 7 strike.
