Richa Chadha, who won the praise of critics and audiences for her role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film ‘Lajjo’… Hiramandishared several BTS stills from the series on her Instagram feed on Tuesday. She shared a detailed note thanking the crew who made her performance look realistic. Amidst the BTS pictures with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, what caught our attention was a picture of Richa with Manisha Koirala aka Mallika Jaan. Richa and Manisha can be seen in their casual best in the picture shared. Manisha can be seen showing love to a dog on the set.
Richa wrote in her note, “It’s been a month since the premiere, it’s been amazing. Unlike Lajjo’s sadness, I was always happy and laughing on set! Though my part was probably the smallest, the dates were staggered so it gave me a wonderful opportunity to work with some amazing hands for makeup and hair.” She further added, “Beautiful energy and worked with @shaylinayak, @blendingiscardio for the mirror scene and also some Sakal Bain, always efficient, @harryrajput64 for the mirror scene and cafe scene, Harry and I work together a lot, we are creative friends too… and the amazing @tanujadabirmakeup for the song, #masoomdilhaimera @ramihalder and @ashisbogi, whose scenes you must have seen all over IG with BTS.” She concluded her post by writing, “I am grateful that your hands made me beautiful. No matter what an actor claims, it takes a village… and then beautiful lighting, costumes and jewellery. So thank you. An actor, if given the opportunity, should do all kinds of things. Challenging yourself and seeing your potential is also a good mental exercise.”

Earlier, Richa Chadha had revealed that she was offered a different role in the show but she chose to play Lajjo. The actress shared that despite being offered a role with more screen time, she decided to portray Lajjo because of the complex arc of her character in the series.
