Mumbai: Actress Mannara Chopra made a trip under the memory lane and reminded her childhood in Ambala Cantt, where there are many nutritious memories in her grandmother’s house. Taking to her Instagram, Mannara shared a collage of memories from the comfortable corners of her grandmother’s house to the military hospital, where she was born, and on the lively streets of Ambala in Haryana, with a large Indian Army and the presence of the Indian Air Force within its cantonment area.
Mannara wrote: “My grandmother’s house in Ambala Cantt – where there is a piece of my heart in every corner.” The actress paid a tribute to her late Nana (Grandpa), which was a love for an army man, and she said how her discipline and power impressed her. “I added a touch of Jazz in this video – a small tribute to my maternal grandfather, who had a soft place for a timeless tune. A dignified soul from the background of a proud army, many in my family. He continues to be disciplined, grace and calm power still continues today, which I am today,” he said.
Motley of paintings and videos also includes military hospitals, where she was born, the scene of the army’s life and the cantonment city attraction. “You will also keep a picture of a military hospital – a place that keeps a deep meaning for me, because it is where I was born. She reflected on the indifferent spirit of returning to her roots and shared that she wanted to catch the livelihood of the local produce at home. Mannara, who is the cousin of global star Priyanka Chopra Jonas, wrote: “There is a certain warmth in returning home where your childhood lived – lazy afternoon, innocent laughter, and comfortable aroma of home food is much more than that it is much higher. It is grounding.”
He said: “I had planned to catch the vibrancy of local produce at home- mango, guava, berries, lemon, and so many seasonal vegetables that add color to life here. But perhaps next time. Till then … Siao.”
