Mumbai: Filmmakers Gungate Monga Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap have been planted as executive manufacturers and presenters for “The Fail”, nominated as “Jugnuma” in Hindi, and is ready to release dramatically across India on 12 September.
Directed by Ram Reddy, the film is set against the backdrop of the Indian Himalayas of the late 1980s, following the film Dev, which burns the mysterious trees burnt in its huge fruit garden property.
Since the fire keeps out despite their efforts to stop, Dev starts looking at himself and his family in a new light.

Ram Reddy took it on Instagram and wrote: “Fireflies flicker and time is a #agile.
Kashyap said, “I loved Rama’s ‘Thithi’, which was so inherent and real, and with ‘Jugnuma’, he has made a film that feels timeless,” Kashyap said.
“This film comes out in this way, thus this film is very magical.
The film, which is ready to dramatically open all over India through flip films on 12 September,
Apart from this, Deepak Dobriyal, Priyanka Bose, Tilotama Shom, Hiral Sidhu and Avan Pukot, Variety.com reports.

The film marked Reddy’s Sophomore feature after his breakout 2016 Kannada-language started after “Thithi”, which won two top prizes in Locarno.
The project hit an immediate raga, the Oscar-winning manufacturer Gungate Monga Kapoor, whose Sikh entertainment presenter and executive manufacturer.
“When I first looked at ‘Jugnuma’, it felt like a mirror. It disturbed me, gave me a rest, and reminded me of the deepest purpose of cinema,” she said.
“Ram Reddy is one of the most exciting voices in Indian cinema today, and to bring his vision into life with Manoj Bajpayee and an extraordinary artists, it looks like a modern classic in making a film.”
Monga Kapoor also highlighted the film’s commitment to craftsmanship, given that it was shot on the film instead of digital formats.
“Every grain of color speaks, adds its timeless beauty. We are proud to bring it to the audience in India, as this caliber’s films are experienced and celebrated in theaters.”
“The Fail” has already created waves on the festival circuit, which premieres at the Berlin Film Festival before claiming the best film honor at the Leeds International Film Festival and the special jury award at the Mummy Film Festival in Mumbai.
Reddy described the “firefall” as a “deep personal journey”, which attracts memory, folklore and history.
Reddy said, “Cinematic visions like Anurag Kashyap and Gunaita Monga join us because the presenter is a great honor, and to distribute it is very happy to have flip films to distribute it,” Reddy said.
“The film was made larger than the life sensory experience and it was always my dream that its scale should be experienced in theaters. I can’t wait to share that cinematic world with Pan-India audience on September 12.”
Ranjan Singh of distributor Flip films said one of a rare films called “Jugnuma”, “with the passion and honesty with which it was horsemen in every frame.”

This facility has Hindi-language dialogues written by Varun Grover and it is produced by the production of PRSPCTVS in collaboration with Maxmi and Sikh entertainment.
