Shah Rukh Khan’s sons Aryan Khan and Abram Khan will be voicing their father in the Hindi dubbed version of Disney’s Mufasa: The Lion King.

Barry Jenkins’ animated adventure Mufasa: The Lion King is getting the Bollywood treatment in a Hindi dubbed version this December with the voices of Shah Rukh Khan and his sons, Aryan Khan and Abram Khan. However, Marathi actress Yogita Chavan has objected to Shah Rukh’s sons’ names getting more space and focus in the film’s official poster. Shah Rukh Khan’s sons Aryan Khan and Abram Khan have lent their voices to the Hindi dubbed version of Mufasa: The Lion King.

What did Yogita say?

Yogita shared the official poster of the Hindi dubbed version of Mufasa: The Lion King on her Instagram Stories. Along with this, she wrote in Marathi, “Shahrukh Khan, I can understand… but why are the names of Aryan Khan and Abram Khan bold??? How wrong is it to write the names of other greats including Makrand Deshpande, Sanjay Mishra, Shreyas Talpade as secondary? Of course, the contribution of all of them in the film industry is more than that of Aryan Khan and Abram Khan.

However, the internet had its own valid reaction to the issue raised by Yogita. An Priority is given to those who have lent their voices to supporting roles. Another user wrote, “Why complain about this? There are no other stars and we are not interested in knowing about them. Let us tell you that Yogita is a former contestant of Bigg Boss Marathi. She is currently seen in the TV show Navari Mile Navaryala.

About Mufasa: The Lion King

Shahrukh Khan has lent his voice to the iconic character of Mufasa. Other voices include Makrand Deshpande as Rafiqui, Sanjay Mishra as Pumbaa, Shreyas Talpade as Timon and Miang Chang as Taaka.

Mufasa is a prequel to Disney’s hit 2019 animated adventure film The Lion King, and explores the origins of Simba’s father Mufasa. Shahrukh Khan and his elder son Aryan also lent their voices in the Hindi dubbed version of that film. The sequel will release in theaters on December 20 in English, Hindi and Tamil.
