Famous Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan has announced that he has successfully recovered his Instagram account, which was hacked and now confirmed that the account was completely safe. Taking his Instagram Stories section, Uni Mukundan wrote, “I am happy to confirm that my official Instagram account @iamunnimukundan has been successfully recovering and now completely safe. The matter has been completely resolved and complete administrative control has been restored.”
Saying that he wanted to express his sincere gratitude to the Meta team for his quick action, technical expertise, and constant support for resolving the issue and consistent support of the account, the actor also thanked the actor who had come out of anxiety. He said, “Everyone who was cautious, avoids joining with any suspicious activity, and reached with anxiety – thanks to your faith, patience and continuous support. Let’s be cautious and continue to prefer online security. Their Instagram account was hacked.
The actor had said, “My official Instagram account @Iamunnimukundan has been hacked to any update, DMS, stories, or materials going out of that account, not to me – they are not being posted by hackers.
The actor, who is known for his performance in Marco and Malikakappuram in Malayalam and Gurudan in Tamil, further said, “We are working with the teams concerned to resolve the issue. I will keep you all posted through verified channels. Thanks to your support and caution. Mukundan was the latest in the list of celebrities whose social media account has been hacked since the beginning of the year.
A few days ago, actress Shruti Haasan’s X account was hacked. The actress took the stories on her Instagram handle to post an alert. He had said, “Hi Lovelyse, just wants to tell you that my Twitter account has been hacked. I am not posting this. So, don’t interact with that page until I am back.”
Shruti’s account on X.com took place after the news was hacked after the National Award winning music director D IMMAN’s X account, which was hacked earlier this year.
Before hacking the account of music director Emman, it was the account of actress and producer Kushubu who was hacked. The actress later managed to recreate the account.
