Academy Award-nominated actress Margot Robbie is reportedly expecting her first child with her husband, filmmaker Tom Ackerley. The news comes after photos of Robbie holidaying in Italy surfaced, sparking speculation about her baby’s birth. Multiple sources have since confirmed the pregnancy to People magazine. The couple have yet to comment on the report. Robbie and Ackerley married in an intimate ceremony in Byron Bay, Australia in 2016.

The couple was spotted enjoying a romantic boat ride on Lake Como in Italy, where she appeared to show off her baby bump in photos obtained by the Daily Mail.
The Barbie star was spotted vacationing in Italy. In the pictures, she was seen in a white crop top that showed off her baby bump, as well as a stylish oversized blazer. Black, low-rise pants completed her outfit, and she wore a cream purse and gold earrings. Her husband, Tom Ackerley, opted for a more casual look with a beige shirt and brown pants. The filmmaker was spotted on a yacht caring for his pregnant wife, where they were enjoying a scenic boat ride.

The Suicide Squad star met her now-husband Tom Ackerley on the set of the film Suite Française in 2013. Their relationship turned into a two-year romance before they decided to get married. In an interview with Vogue in 2016, Robbie described their relationship as a pleasant surprise, and called Ackerley “the best-looking guy in London.” Their relationship started as a friendship, and they also co-founded a production company, LuckyChap. Of the A-list films produced by the company, Barbie is one of them.

Speaking to the Sunday Times about her marriage to Robbie, Ackerley explained how they spend “24 hours a day together [together]”It’s seamless. We don’t have any toggles on or toggles off. It’s all become one thing,” he said.
Opening up about how she fell madly in love with her husband, the actress recalled in her 2016 interview with Vogue, “I was a very lonely girl. The idea of relationships made me feel nauseous. And then it dawned on me. We were friends for so long. I always loved him, but I thought, Oh, he’ll never love me. Don’t make it weird, Margot. Don’t be stupid and tell him you like him. And then it happened, and I was like, ‘Of course we’re together. This makes so much sense, in a way nothing has ever made sense before.’”
