Metro in dino trailer: The trailer of ‘Metro … In Dino’, Anurag Basu’s latest film, is finally out, offering a deep glimpse in the emotional clothes of this much awaited multi-story drama. After the recent release of the song “Zamana Lege”, the trailer creates a promise of love, heartbreak and human relationship in the chaos of urban life.

Directed by Basu, the film brings together an influential actors including Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Sheikh, Anupam Kher, Nena Gupta and Saswata Chatterjee. The story comes out through four different love stories in generations-the love-loving uncertainty, facing emotional distance to the middle-aged couples, and the old characters discovered passion in the twenty-two years of their life.

The trailer opens with everyday slices of Mumbai – train, traffic, and fleeting glimpse – intersection with intimate moments between each couple. Aditya Roy Kapoor plays the role of a person struggling with emotional maturity and commitment, while Sara Ali Khan’s character is caught between loyalty and desire, already connected to someone else. Konkona Sen Sharma and Pankaj Tripathi depicted a couple with time erosion of affection. Meanwhile, Ali Fazal and Fatima Sana Sheikh are seen in wrestling with the realities of an unplanned pregnancy. Anupam Kher and Nina Gupta, added to a delicate triangle with Saswata Chatterjee, brings complexity and tenderness to the love story of a late life.

Background score by Pritam, with papon vocals, adds a sad beauty to the trailer, much like her famous work in ‘Life in a … Metro’. Music, once again, becomes a heart to tell Basu.

T-series banners, ‘Metro … in Dino’, built by Bhushan Kumar, ‘Metro’ and ‘Ludo’, after life, is the end installment in the trilogy of interconnected urban stories. The film is slapped for a dramatic release on July 4, and in a modern city – and promises to be a rich, emotional journey about many ways that love in many ways to die.
