Actress-model Sheffly Jariwala, who is known for her prestigious role in the hit music video ‘Kanta Laga’, has died at the age of 42. The news of his sudden demise has sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry, friends and colleagues expressed their mistrust and grief.

Jariwala’s death was confirmed by the Mumbai Police, which shared that the actor was found dead at his residence in Andheri area of ​​Mumbai in the early hours of Saturday. A police spokesperson said, “Sheffly Jariwala died at the age of 42. She lived in Andheri area of ​​Mumbai. Her family members rushed to the hospital with her late last night, and were declared dead by doctors,” said a police spokesman.

Officials received information around 1:00 am and later sent the body to Cooper Hospital for postmortem. While some reports describe cardiac arrest as a possible cause, the exact cause of death is under investigation. Jariwala’s death was also confirmed by the All Indian Cine Workers Association on social media. The association wrote, “Shefali Jariwala is no longer with us. Suddenly due to a heart attack, just 42 went away. It is difficult to believe that she has left. Her soul can rest in peace, and God can give strength to her family during this heartbreaking time,” the Association wrote.

Known for his role in the 2002 music video ‘Kanta Laga’, Jariwala became a cultural icon. She later appeared in Bollywood, starring in the 2004 film.
