Mirzapur 3 Review: The story of the third season of Mirzapur is limited to 10 episodes, read Mirzapur-3 review before watching.

Mirzapur 3 Spoiler Free Review: Pankaj Tripathi and Ali Fazal’s web series ‘Mirzapur-3’ has hit OTT. When people saw the bloodshed in the first and second seasons of ‘Mirzapur’, they were convinced. He was sure there was going to be more violence in the third season. Clean Bhaiya and Guddu Pandit are going to face each other and Clean Bhaiya is going to avenge the death of his son Munna Tripathi. But the question arises, is this really going to happen in the third season? Before you carve out 10 hours to watch 10 episodes, read our review.

Here’s the story (spoiler free):

At the end of the second season of Mirzapur, it is shown that Guddu shoots at Pandit, Munna Tripathi and Kaleen Bhaiya. The third season starts from here. Munna Tripathi dies and Sharad Shukla takes the injured Kalin Bhaiyya with him. In Kalin Bhaiya’s absence, Guddu Pandit uses the Sam Dam Dand Bher to usurp the throne of Mirzapur, but the twist in the story comes when Kalin Bhaiya regains consciousness. You have to watch the web series to know the story further.

Top notch acting

The role of Guddu Pandit (Ali Fazal) in ‘Mirzapur-3’ is very strong. Ali Fazal has given this character new heights with his talent. Golu (Shweta Tripathi), who was lost in the books in the first season, gets a complete makeover in the third season. Sharad Shukla (Anjum Sharma) has a lot of screen time in ‘Mirzapur-3’. He didn’t get much in the second season but this season he has done a great job.

weak characters

Pankaj Tripathi is the life of this series but in the third season his character Kaleen Bhaiya is shown to be very weak. However, he has tried his best to capitalize on whatever space he got. Rasika Duggal has also done a solid job as Bina Tripathi, the wife of Kaleen Bhaiya. CM Madhuri Yadav aka Esha Talwar is also looking good. Chote Tyagi aka Vijay Varma’s acting was good, but the character was not interesting.

The life of the show was put aside

People had high expectations from the director of ‘Mirzapur-3’, Gurmeet Singh, but he could not live up to these expectations. Yes, ‘Mirzapur-3’ could not leave as much impact as ‘Mirzapur-1’ and ‘Mirzapur-2’ did. The main reason for this is to give less screen time to the main character of the show, Kaleen Bhaiya. After watching the trailer, people got very excited because they thought that in ‘Mirzapur-3’ they will get to see the clash of Clean Bhaiyya and Guddu Pandit, but they will be disappointed after watching the web series.

weak story

Apart from the absence of Kaleen Bhaiyya, the story also did not seem strong. ‘Mirzapur’ is known for its violence, powerful dialogues and punchlines. However, in ‘Mirzapur-3’ the quantity of all these was reduced. It seemed that some scenes were shown forcibly to prolong the story. If the story of 10 episodes was finished in 5 episodes, the story might have felt a bit stronger.

Climax

While thrills were missing from the entire series, the ending sequence was fun. After watching the climax you will be amazed and also understand that now the fourth season of ‘Mirzapur’ is coming.

See or not?

You can watch the third season of ‘Mirzapur’, but don’t expect too much as the 10 episodes of the web series are very different from its trailer. The trailer hints at bloodshed for the throne of Mirzapur and a clash between the Guddu Pandit-era brothers, but (spoiler alert) the two don’t even come head-to-head in the 10-episode series. Apart from this, Munna Tripathi (Divyendu Sharma) is also a miss.
