New Delhi: Miss Universe India 2025 pages are now in full swing, in which state level competitions are being held across India. Known as one of the largest and most respected beauty competitions in the country, this year’s event has attracted more than 50,000 participants.
Finalists from over 30 cities are competing in more than 25 state competitions. A total of 51 finalists will be selected to compete in the Grand Finale, which will be held in July. The winner will represent India at the Miss Universe Global event.
The pageant includes auditions, grooming sessions, talent rounds and panel talks on social issues. The contestants will also participate in various challenges before the final round.
Here are some upcoming major events:
June 2: Miss Universe Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal (7 pm) at Empire Hotel
June 4: Combined in Miss Universe Delhi, Haryana, and Uttarakhand in Grand, Vasant Kunj, Delhi (after 8 pm)
June 7: Miss Universe Himachal Pradesh, Bantlai Resort, Hamirpur (6 pm)
Each participant is being trained by a team of stylists, makeup artists, choreographers and designers to help them prepare for a larger platform.
Miss Universe India has a history of building international winners. Sushmita Sen made history as the first Indian to win the Miss Universe in 1994, and Harnaz Sandhu again brought the Crown Home in 2021.
Sushmita Sen recently celebrated the 31st anniversary of her victory on Instagram. He shared, “21 May 1994 #Manila. A historical victory that introduced an 18yr old Indian girl in the universe !!! Opening a world of possibilities, power of hope, inclusion of inclusion, generosity of love … to visit the world and to meet some of the most inspiring people … Surely to define life !!!”
