Miss World: Heritage walk will be held in Charminer contestants from about 109 countries to participate

Hyderabad: As part of Miss World 2024 events being hosted in Hyderabad, 109 contestants representing countries around the world will participate in a special heritage in the world famous Charminer on Tuesday.

According to the press note by I & PR Telangana, Miss World Contestants will arrive in four special buses and will be welcomed with traditional and vibrant Marfa music at Charminer, which is popular in the old city of Hyderabad.

A special photo shoot has been arranged at Charminer to capture the prestigious monument with international contestants.

After the photo session, compete will visit the nearby Lad Bazaar (Chudi Bazaar) for the experience of shopping. They will explore nine selected stores famous for their traditional bangles, pearls and decorative items, including Hyderabad bangles, Mujib bangles, Kanhiyalal, Motilal Karva, Gokuldas Jariwala, Ker Ker Kasat, Jiju Pearls, Ah Zariwala, and Afzal Mia Karala.

The contestants will also be a witness to live performances of the technology of making bangles, which will give them a glimpse in the unique artisan traditions of the city.

Later, the delegation will be hosted in the historic Chamahalla Palace for a particularly systematic cultural evening. The mehndi ceremony will be held, and the contestants will be given the opportunity to wear traditional Nizami dress, a press note by Telangana I and PR.

As part of the cultural showcase, especially in curated films, diverse tourist destinations and the cultural prosperity of Telangana will be screened.

Competitive Palace will also visit the Nizam-era performances, including ancient weapons, royal household items, and traditional artifacts, which will provide them with a great experience of Hyderabad’s royal heritage and old city traditions.

Officials of various departments have made detailed arrangements to ensure the success and grandeur of this prestigious international program.

Meanwhile, contestants of the 72nd Miss World Festival from Asian and Ocean regions on Monday marked Buddha Purnima with the cultural and spiritual journey of Buddhavana, a famous Buddhist heritage site in Nagarjunsagar in Nallanga district of Telangana.

Heritage Tour is an important part of the festival’s journey program, which aims to highlight the rich history and diverse cultural heritage of Telangana to offer the intensive spiritual and historical heritage of the region to the contestants.

The day -to -day procession included a brief stagnation at a guest house near Chintapalli, followed by a picturesque photo session in Vijay Vihar, which was set against the pure backdrop of Nagarjunasagar reservoir.
