Goswami on charges of literary theft
Goswami claimed literary theft through a statement shared on his Instagram account. He said, “Our story, characters and dialogues are 100% original. Any allegations of literary theft are completely untrue. These allegations not only weaken my efforts as a writer, but also reduce the tireless efforts of the entire film production team,” he wrote.
He said that for this idea ‘Missing ladies’ Was in development for years. Goswami said that he registered the summary of the story- ‘Two brideOn July 3, 2014 with the screenplay Write Association (SWA). “Even within this registered synopsis, there is a scene that clearly describes the groom to bring the wrong bride into the house and feel shocked when he feels his mistake due to the veil with the rest of his family,” he said.

In June 2018, the full screenplay registered with SWA was selected as a runner-up in the Cineston Storytalers competition that year. “Again, in this screenplay, I had a scene of the policeman surprised by the picture of The Brid,” Goswami said.
