Chennai: Three legends of the Indian film industry -Megastar Chiranjeevi, Kannada Star Kichcha Sudeep and Ace Cinematographer PC Sriram -Veer to congratulate the Malayalam superstar Mohanlal to honor the prestigious Dadasaheb Award among the latest between PC Sriram -Veer.
For his ex -timeline, Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi posted a picture of herself with Mohanlal and wrote, “My dear lelette @mohanlal, hearty congratulations on being honored with the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award. Your remarkable travel and prestigious performances have really recognized a well -recognized.”
Kannada superstar Kichcha Sudeep also faced X to congratulate actor Mohanlal. He wrote, “Legends such as @mohanlal sir converted every frame into magic. Heartfelt congratulations on the Dadasaheb Phalke Award-The salute earned for decades of unmatched cinema of the cinema. #Mohanlal #Dadasahebphalakeaward.”

Ace cinematographer PC Sriram, who is one of the favorite cameramen of director Mani Ratnam, congratulated Mohanlal for his share, saying, “You have masked the world in each of your films. #Mohanlal.”
On Saturday, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting announced that Mohanlal will be awarded the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his admirable contribution to Indian cinema 2023.
Taking its ex -timeline, the ministry announced, “On the recommendation of the Dadasaheb Phalke Award Selection Committee, the Government of India is pleased to announce that Mr. Mohanlal will be honored with the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award 2023.”

Talking about Mohanlal’s magnificent cinematic journey, it said, “Mohanlal’s remarkable cinematic travel inspires generations! Veteran actor, director and producer are being honored for his prestigious contribution to Indian cinema. His unmatched talent, versatility and tireless hard work has set a golden standard in Indian film history.”
The post further revealed that the award would be presented to Malayalam Superstar at the 71st National Film Awards ceremony on 23 September.

Earlier, Mohanlal was honored by the Government of India for his contribution to Indian cinema in 2001 and Padma Bhushan in 2019.
In 2009, Mohanlal became the first actor in the Indian film industry to be awarded the honorary rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Territorial Army.
