New Delhi: Actress Mona Singh has an interesting fact to share and guess what, it has to do with Aryan Khan. Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan has made his directorial debut with Mona Singh, 20 years after they first met on the sets of a popular soap opera Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin in the early 2000s. The duo’s reunion in this new project titled ‘Stardom’ is especially significant as it has been a while since Aryan, who was a kid then, met Mona. They were reportedly spotted shooting in Goa for this exciting new project, which also stars Bobby Deol.
Recalling this special moment, Mona Singh shared a heartwarming memory during a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, “My relationship with Shah Rukh started from the time of Jassi. Twenty years ago, when I was shooting in Film City and the sun was setting, my director was shouting to shoot the scene quickly because we would lose the sunset. Suddenly, Shah Rukh Khan sir came with his kids, Suhana and Aryan. He was holding both of them in his arms. He told me that both his kids are my fans, and I was stunned. I couldn’t believe this was happening to me. He was very honest and kind, and he also told me that both Suhana and Aryan eat food while listening to the title track of Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin.”
Mona Singh, who has received praise for her versatility and recent success with Munjya, is also set for her third collaboration with Aamir Khan in the upcoming film ‘Happy Patel Dangerous Jasoos’.
